So I have tried to amp up my fitness journey in the past two weeks. And I will have to say that I am seeing results. My strength is improving and I think that cardio wise, my stamina is getting better. One thing I wanted to talk about though is that you don’t have to treat your fitness journey as if you are a Bodybuilder on prep. I have noticed that since I watch a lot of fitness influencers who are Bikini Competitors on Youtube, I sometimes compare my journey to their prep. But I need to realize that I am not on prep. Its slightly fun to treat my fitness journey as that, but I don’t have to be stage lean, nor do I want to.
I can go out with friends and drink and have a meal that is not healthy, because that won’t set me back. This is so because I am 75% of the time eating healthy, and I work out about 4-5 days a week. I am more focused on building strength and then leaning out a bit just so that I can see the progress that I am making in the gym with weight training.
